New product reviews for 2011
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas.
So many new toys to play with and socks to wear. Soon the glow will wear off my shiny new consumer products and I will begin to see what they are really made of. It is interesting to see what items will last until next Christmas and what books you will actually end up reading. Many things will remain in their packaging to be re-gifted and some things will get lost in your basements and sock drawers.
This year I am planning to review many of my new gifts here on my blog. I received 4 flashlights, 1 carhart raincoat, new steel-nosed boots, lots of batteries, 4 belts, 3 books, and lots of other items. I will be testing these under the most intense conditions I can manage to get myself into over the next few months. I am hoping for lots of rain, dirt, and impacts to test out the durability and longevity of my new gear. I might keep the books out of the stress tests, but you can expect reviews for anything I can manage to finish.
I'll start by testing my sisters new Wii game right now! Olympic sports of some kind. I'll find out the full title for my next post.
Update. Jan. 25
- Merino wool socks: Warm, dry, perfect 10.
2. Wii vs. Xbox kinect: edge goes to xbox
3. Air Canada Chicken Wrap: Made me barf. 0.0002/10
4. Camo Snuggie: sexy, warm, but still made in china, 7/10
5. Camo Hat with built in LED flashlight: Awesome. I love panther vision. 10/10
Be creative.

Quote of the day
From a CBC story about the wikileaks cyberbattle,
"It's a game of whack-a-mole," he said. "As soon as you whack that mole, it's not only that another one is popping up, but another one is coming behind you to hit you on the head with a hammer."
